Catering to the requirement of plywood manufacturing units, we, Vedanta Polychem Pvt. Ltd., are engaged in offering a better and superior quality extender, called VISCOPLUSTM. It acts as a thickener in Urea Formaldehyde and Melamine Urea Formaldehyde Resin used in plywood manufacturing. Manufactured from starchy, proteinous, inorganic material and specialty chemicals, VISCOPLUSTM, has been developed to replace conventional extenders like Maida (Wheat Flour) and GNCP.
Through word-of-mouth promotion, the product has received wide acceptance in the market, and presently it is used in 15 states across the country. VISCOPLUSTM builds viscosity as well as enhances coverage. For developing such a useful and innovative product, we are reckoned as one of the leading manufacturers in the domain.
The idea VISCOPLUSTM was introduced by our mentor Mr. Man Mohan Mundhra in 2005. He figured out the lack of an ideal Plywood Extender in the plywood industry, which was a constant concern for the plywood manufacturers. Hence, in association of our R&D unit, he formulated the best alternative for the commercial extenders in plywood. The product first made an appearance at an international platform in INDIAWOOD ’08, held in Feb-Mar’08 in Bangalore and received an overwhelming response from both the Indian as well as foreign plywood manufacturers.
